Technical Analyst London- hybrid

For one of our clients, a leading provider of innovative software solutions for the financial services industry, we are currently looking for an experienced Technical Analyst / Software Engineer / Production Support to join their UK entity in London (hybrid).

Working with our client means joining one of the most recognized leaders in the fintech sector, renowned for their expertise in cloud security. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation working closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders on complex, cloud-native systems.

Your role :

Analyse business and technical requirements, and translate them into actionable specs for development teams

Support the design and documentation of modern, secure, and scalable software systems (mostly Java-based with AWS cloud architecture)

Investigate issues in production, review logs, and assist in root cause analysis

Map and document APIs, data flows, integration points, and system processes

Collaborate in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) and support user story refinement, testing, and delivery

Communicate technical insights clearly across teams, clients, and stakeholders

Your profile :

Background in software engineering or systems analysis, with a solid understanding of the SDLC

Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL queries, and writing stored procedures (SQL Server)

Understanding of cloud infrastructure - AWS

Knowledge of tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Helm, Terraform)

Ability to work with monitoring/logging tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)

Previous experience supporting production environments or investigating application-level issues

Comfortable in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and similar tools

Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills

Experience in financial services or regulated environments
