We're recruiting on behalf of a leading insurance programme - Project Mercury - a strategic initiative to build and implement a cutting-edge technology platform for the insurance sector.

As we approach a critical go-live phase, we're looking for a Business Acceptance PM to join the programme team on a 12-month contract. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a complex transformation, overseeing the readiness, deployment, and early support of the new platform.

?? Role Overview:

You will lead go-live readiness, cutover planning, and post-deployment transition to BAU. You'll also own and lead the Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) process, ensuring the platform is fully tested, accepted, and fit for operational use.

?? Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-Live Readiness: Create and maintain readiness plans and checklists across workstreams (technical, data, training, process).
  • Cutover & Deployment: Define cutover strategy, coordinate across teams, and manage execution.
  • Operational Handover: Establish support models, ensure training/knowledge transfer, and prepare BAU teams for ownership.
  • Post-Go-Live Monitoring: Track performance metrics, manage issue triage, and embed sustainable post-live operations.
  • Business Acceptance Testing: Lead BAT planning, execution, issue management, and ensure solution meets business needs.

? Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in technology transformation or platform delivery programmes within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong background in cutover planning, testing coordination, and business change.
  • Track record of working across multi-disciplinary teams (build, data, BI, ops, IT).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and structured project delivery approach.
  • Familiar with hyper care, issue triage, and transition to operational support.
