Interiors Business Development Executive (BDE) –

As the business grows across residential and commercial sectors, the Business Development Executive (BDE) plays a key role in identifying new opportunities, managing existing accounts, and driving sustainable growth. Acting as a vital link between the market, customers, and the internal sales team, the BDE supports a market-facing Business Development Manager (BDM) in expanding territory and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and assess new market opportunities quickly and effectively.

  • Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline while cultivating trust with partners.

  • Evaluate opportunities using criteria such as budget, need, authority, and timeline 

  • Understand prospects’ requirements and challenges to propose viable solutions.

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers.

  • Communicate the value proposition clearly to new, existing, and dormant customers.

  • Collaborate with the BDM to drive regional and national growth.

  • Act as a consultant rather than a salesperson, demonstrating empathy, agility, and insight.

  • Conduct outbound communications, including calls, emails, and social media prospecting.

  • Cross-sell products and differentiate offerings from competitors.

  • Organi client engagement activities such as Lunch & Learn sessions and CPDs.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage the BDM’s diary, and generate reports on lead activity.

  • Territory growth and incremental sales

  • Volume and value of new leads

  • Opportunity-to-deal conversion rate

  • Face-to-face engagement and overall sales activity

  • Reliability, time management, and positive internal feedback
