This position is responsible for driving growth across the Private Wealth division, promoting a comprehensive suite of private wealth and family office services to a wide network of intermediaries and business introducers. The successful candidate will identify and develop new business opportunities, leveraging strong sector knowledge, established networks, and a track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions (Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man) and the Head of Intermediaries to design and implement strategic business development plans aligned with growth targets.
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with a broad range of professional intermediaries and industry partners, particularly in London and key international markets.
  • Represent the firm’s unique service proposition through regular engagement with intermediaries and by introducing relevant internal specialists when appropriate.
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues to develop bespoke solutions for international family offices, UHNWIs, and their families, addressing complex, multi-jurisdictional needs.
  • Attend and represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate new contacts and identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and proposals to prospective clients and intermediaries; contribute to broader marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of business development activity and outcomes to support effective financial reporting.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development within a professional or financial services environment, ideally in trust, fiduciary, or family office sectors.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent; a business, financial, or relevant professional qualification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed business development targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and close successful deals.
  • Proactive, resilient, and capable of building long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a confident and credible presence.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently while contributing to the firm’s wider growth objectives.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
