Our client is on the lookout for an experienced, proactive area manager to oversee a portfolio of sites across central London in the hospitality sector. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key role during a period of transformation and growth, where you'll help shape service delivery, build strong teams, and create lasting client relationships - all while keeping standards high and operations running smoothly.
What Does the Role Entail?
As Area Manager, you'll be responsible for managing daily operations across multiple client sites, ensuring service excellence, team performance, and compliance with all agreed standards. You'll regularly meet with clients, audit services, review budgets, and lead from the front, taking a hands-on approach to both people and performance. Whether it's refining site procedures, responding quickly to issues, or supporting your direct reports, you'll ensure everything stays on track and in line with expectations.
What Skills Will You Have?
You'll bring solid experience in facilities or cleaning contract management, ideally across retail, office, or hospitality environments. You're confident managing multiple sites, leading teams, and balancing customer needs with commercial performance. Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is essential. You'll have a strong grasp of policies, TUPE, budgeting, health & safety, and audits - along with great communication and IT skills. Above all, you're someone who takes pride in doing things properly, consistently, and with people in mind.
