Tempest Charities are recruiting for a Charity that is building a network of community organisations and individuals across underprivileged areas, working to create system changes that enable people to thrive. Through Community Assemblies and forums, we engage individuals and communities across the full spectrum of national origin, gender, age, disability, faith, class and sexual orientation.

They are recruiting for an HR & Recruitment Coordinator to support our mental health services team with end-to-end recruitment and employee on-boarding.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Review and update job descriptions with hiring managers
  • Manage recruitment process including advertising, shortlisting, and interview coordination
  • Prepare employment contracts
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies

On-boarding & Induction

  • Lead employee induction and on-boarding process
  • Implement AI tools to streamline on-boarding and reduce administrative time
  • Set up efficient digital systems for new starter documentation

Compliance & Administration

  • Assist with health and safety compliance
  • Maintain accurate HR records
  • Support HR & Admin Manager with recruitment reporting

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in recruitment and HR administration
  • Proficiency with AI tools and digital systems
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a racially and culturally diverse team environment
  • Understanding of community-led approaches
  • Commitment to working with underprivileged communities

Working Pattern: 2-3 days per week, remote working
