M&E Contracts Manager

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Hybrid model)

The Role:

As a Contracts Manager at Polyteck, you will be responsible for ensuring all works are technically compliant, delivered on time, and meet customer expectations. Your role will include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of assigned contracts
  • Allocating labour, time, materials, and equipment effectively
  • Overseeing PPM and reactive maintenance works to SFG20, HVAC, and statutory compliance standards
  • Providing technical assistance, fault finding, and on-site problem resolution
  • Auditing, updating site logbooks, and preparing asset registers & 60-day reports
  • Leading client meetings and providing monthly performance and P&L reports
  • Supporting engineers with toolbox talks, audits, and technical guidance
  • Liaising with clients, tenants, contractors, and the helpdesk team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Assisting with mobilisation of new contracts and preparing quotations for remedial works
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and best practice across all sites

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in M&E building services (Minimum of 5 years)
  • Experience managing multiple contracts within facilities management or building services
  • Knowledge of SFG20, HVAC systems, statutory compliance, and H&S legislation
  • Commercially aware with the ability to manage budgets, P&L, and client reporting
  • Excellent leadership skills – able to coach, support and motivate engineers/apprentices
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
