Cobalt is delighted to be supporting a well-established real estate brand on a Facilities Manager requirement for a mixed-use estate in the West-End. This privately held estate is made up of commercial multi-let office developments with a blend of retail, leisure, and residential units attached. With a large programme of capital investment committed, our client is active, ambition, and long-term in their vision and seeking an equally forward-thinking FM to join the estates team.

You'll report into the Head of the Estate and take responsibility for the daily management of a cluster of properties on the estate. Working hand-in-glove with the wider estate team you'll be take the lead on delivering a top-tier total FM service delivery.

Key responsibilities include but won't be limited to:

  • Undertaking regular inspections of the common areas of buildings;
  • Ensuring strong working relationships with a wide array of stakeholders including clients, customers, and service partners;
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance consistently across your portfolio;
  • Managing the work of service partners across a variety of hard & soft FM functions;
  • Setting and managing service charge budgets, including reconciliations;
  • Overseeing a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance programme, including CAPEX works as necessary.

Our client offers a close-knit, collaborative team environment and is seeking a like-minded individual to welcome into the fold. You'll be a driven and enthusiastic FM professional, either established at the Facilities Manager level or ready for the step up from an Assistant FM.

An IOSH or NEBOSH is essential, as is experience in managing full buildings previously including common areas and plant rooms.
