Security Officer (Weekends)

Location: Battersea, London
Hours: Saturday 7:00am – 8:00pm, Sunday 8:00am – 8:00pm (plus overtime)
Salary: £16,675 per annum

Red Rock Consultants are working with a fantastic business, based in Battersea, who are looking to expand their Security team.

You will be supporting the safety and security of the school by managing visitor access, overseeing car park operations, monitoring the site via CCTV, and assisting with traffic management. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and will also support locking/unlocking, alarm monitoring, and general site security duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sign in and out all visitors, maintaining accurate records.
  • Prevent unauthorised access and monitor site security via CCTV.
  • Manage car park access and assist with traffic management during pupil arrival and departure.
  • Oversee student arrivals/departures, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
  • Support contractor management and deliveries, including post and parcels.
  • Be on call for intruder alarm activations and emergencies.
  • Work with emergency services in the event of an incident.
  • Assist with general site security duties as required.

The right candidate will hold an SIA licence and have experience working in a busy environment. Experience in a school or estates/facilities setting is desirable, but not essential.

Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate will need to hold or be willing to undertake a DBS check.
