We are looking for a reliable and experienced Shift Engineer to join a dedicated team responsible for the maintenance of building systems and services within a prestigious commercial property in central London. The position operates on a rotating shift pattern to provide 24/7 support, ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of all building services.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, BMS, lighting, and power distribution.

Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics, ensuring swift resolution to reduce disruption.

Support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Respond to building alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action and escalating when necessary.

Maintain detailed records of all work carried out and systems monitored.

Work collaboratively with on-site teams and external contractors to uphold high standards of service delivery.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance
- Possession of qualificationssuch as City & Guilds, BTEC, HNC, BEng, or BSc (equivalent qualifications obtained outside of the UK should have a formal statement of compatibility issued).
- Knowledge of relevant building systems including BMS, UPS, lighting, alarm systems, AHUs, FCUs, etc.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
