Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience of managing window cleaning or specialist cleaning operations and large contracts
  • Hands-on understanding of window cleaning methods, processes, equipment and standards
  • Excellent working knowledge of health and safety practices, including RAMS documentation
  • Confident in using IT systems, apps and latest CRM technology
  • Strong ability to exercise judgement, negotiate and make sound decisions when working to tight timescales
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers
  • Commercially astute, with a focus on delivering value and operational efficiency
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • General Overview of Duties:
  • Day to day team management
  • Contract management
  • Quality audits
  • Health and safety audits
  • Manage Risk Assessment and Method Statement documentation for all specialist works
  • Client visits
  • HR management of team including 1-1s and team meetings
  • Toolbox talks
  • Recruitment of new window cleaners
  • Arrange and head-up staff training (in-house and external courses)
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment and vans
  • Oversee schedule of window cleaning and specialist cleaning jobs via CRM system
  • Create quotes and carry out site surveys for new requests
  • Oversee arranging access equipment hire i.e. MEWP, TM, SPIDER
  • Oversee weekend works and night projects ensuring completion on time/ budget
  • Reporting into the Managing Director

Experience:

  • Window cleaning management: 5 years (preferred)
