City & Capital is currently partnering with a rapidly expanding real estate finance lender, who are actively seeking a proactive and confident individual who will join their busy sales & operations department as Team Assistant.

Our client is achieving outstanding growth, having recently doubled the size of their UK business consecutively, driven by exciting investment and ambitions to be the leading player in their sector. This exciting growth is set to continue, driving the need for continued team expansion.

Our client is renowned for supporting property professionals, such as developers and investors, with access to funds for key projects and offer a range of loans to suit, such as commercial mortgages, BTL, bridging finance and development exit loans.

As Team Assistant, you will play an integral role in the oversight and success of our clients busiest departments, sales & underwriting. You will support the Head of Sales & the Head of Underwriting with their activity and activity that drives team success.

This role offers a diverse range of challenges and requirements, blending traditional personal assistant activity, such as diary planning, travel arrangements, reporting and administration, with activity that supports the sales and underwriting teams directly, such as supporting broker and client management, proofreading loan documentation & CRM oversight.

Due to this constant expansion, this is a role that comes with a lot of scope for progression too, should excellent performance be delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the diaries of the senior leadership team & staff
  • Schedule meetings and calls on behalf of stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate travel arrangements and itineraries
  • Oversee departmental documentation and appropriate digital filing
  • Undertake important data entry activity that supports the department
  • Oversee e mails and inboxes on behalf of management and the team
  • Draft e mails and letters and ensure all correspondence is timely, and accurate
  • Support the onboarding of new team members & assist with offboarding activity
  • Organise training and development sessions for management & the team
  • Proofread important documentation on behalf of management & the team
  • Act as a key point of contact for business clients, partners, suppliers, etc…
  • Act as a key point of contact to other internal departments
  • Ensure all contracts are correctly completed and filed
  • Identify, research and arrange specific events or conferences
  • Actively support the loan pipeline with activity that allows it to progress
  • Collate data and create dynamic reports that assist senior management
  • Support the teams quality analysis programme, wherever required
  • Undertake market research activity to identify and align with new opportunities
  • Support the effective upkeep of the CRM and other key systems
  • Ensure all key communications or actions are filed and accessible as requested
  • Help prepare pitch decks, client presentations and proposal documents
  • Ensure branding, accuracy and professional formatting in all communications
  • Work with discretion, integrity and confidentiality at all times
  • Achieve any task that supports the need of the business, team or clients

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position is likely to have some experience within a current or prior team assistant or personal/executive assistant role, ideally within the real estate, professional services or financial services sectors.

You will be highly organised, confident when managing multiple projects simultaneously, proactive in your approach and quick to spot opportunities or problems, and to address them. You must be an excellent communicator, verbally and in writing, and will work with discretion wherever required.

On Offer

Our client is looking to pay up to £55k as a basic salary for the ideal individual. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional talent. Salary will be completed by access to a favourable bonus scheme too, which will significantly increase annual earnings year on year.

Most notably, as our client operates a strong and proven promote from within policy and are in growth, an individual who is looking for a home for the long term is preferred, allowing for the potential to progress in to more senior roles in time, as excellent performance is delivered.

This role would be based on one of our clients offices in W1.
