Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Refuse Van Driver Operative to join a large and well-established waste management company based in Southwark, London.
This is a full-time position offering stable, ongoing work within a friendly and professional team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Driving a refuse van as part of a team to complete daily waste and recycling collections across Southwark.

Assisting with loading and unloading of waste and recycling bins when required.

Ensuring all collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times.
Requirements:

A valid UK Category B driving licence (Van licence).

Previous experience in waste collection, refuse driving, or multi-drop delivery is highly desirable.

Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

Start time: 7:00am until job finish (typically an 8-hour paid shift)

Break: 30 minutes unpaid
Pay Rate 14.57
