Van Driver/Depot Assistant working day shifts in London.
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Van Driver/Depot Assistant in London to do multi-drop deliveries of food.
Our client is London's largest charity food distributor, supplying food to homeless shelters, schools and food banks.
Pay rates-
DAYS: 13.85ph Monday to Friday
Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave.
Your hourly pay rate is 13.85 and you will accrue 1.67 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

Duties of a Van Driver/Depot Assistant -
- Multi-drop delivery of food to food banks, homeless shelters and schools
- Manual handling involved
- Hybrid role - both van and warehouse work
- Loading and unloading at each delivery point
- Monday to Friday shift pattern
- Ongoing work
- A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
- Always Wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis)
Start time will be from 07.30am.
The ideal Van Driver/Depot Assistant will have-
- A valid UK driving license
- Previous multi-drop and warehouse experience is required
- Clean Driving License with no more than 3 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
