Role Overview:
As a Carpenter / Junior Construction Manager, you will support senior site and project managers in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction activities. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone with foundational construction experience who is eager to develop their skills and step into a management career path.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day management of construction sites
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld
- Help monitor project progress and quality control
- Attend site meetings and assist with reporting and documentation
- Resolve minor site issues and escalate concerns when needed
Requirements:
- Carpentry background is essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to read and understand plans and technical drawings
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
