Carpenter – Social Housing

Salary: £22-£23ph

Hours: 40 hours per week + Overtime
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our in-house repairs and maintenance team, working across social housing stock in North London. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our residents by ensuring their homes are safe, well-maintained, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out a wide range of carpentry repairs and installations in occupied and void properties.

Complete tasks such as fitting doors, frames, skirting, locks, and kitchen units.

Diagnose faults and complete work to a high standard in line with health and safety regulations.

Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

Use handheld devices to receive and record job information.
What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in domestic property repairs and maintenance, ideally within social housing.

Full UK driving licence (a van may be provided).

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
