The Role:

Our Client is seeking a skilled FRA Carpenter to support a short-term fire safety project. This is a hands-on technical role focusing on fire door fitting and associated works to ensure housing stock meets the highest safety standards.

You'll be based out of the Camden area and working on-site, carrying out fire door installations, repairs, and fire stopping work to a high standard of compliance and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fit new fire doors and upgrade or repair existing ones
  • Install fire-rated plasterboard and electrical enclosures
  • Perform fire stopping works and apply best practices in passive fire protection
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and record keeping
  • Ensure work complies with British Standards and fire regulations
The Candidate:
  • Proven experience working with fire doors and an understanding of their components
  • Strong knowledge of British fire safety standards
  • Ability to carry out high-quality carpentry and fire stopping tasks
  • A full UK driving licence - a van will be provided
  • Good with minor admin and customer communication
  • Innovative and quality-focused mindset
