Position: Breakfast Chef

Overview:

Chucs Mayfair is seeking a talented and reliable Breakfast Chef to deliver exceptional morning

service in line with Chucs refined, Mediterranean-inspired style. The ideal candidate is organised,

calm under pressure, and passionate about high-quality ingredients and elegant presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Breakfast Service

Prepare and cook all breakfast dishes to Chucs standards, ensuring consistency, flavour, and

presentation.

Manage mise-en-place for the breakfast section, ensuring readiness before service.

Coordinate with front-of-house for smooth service flow and timely dish delivery.

Kitchen Operations

Maintain excellent cleanliness and organisation of your station at all times.

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.

Assist with stock rotation, labelling, and minimising waste.

Receive and check morning deliveries, ensuring quality and correct storage.

Support the main kitchen team when required after breakfast service.

Quality & Standards

Uphold Chucs brand values, culinary style, and service excellence.

Ensure dishes meet portion, taste, and presentation guidelines with every order.

Contribute ideas for breakfast menu improvements or seasonal updates.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar role in a premium or high-end

restaurant.

Strong knowledge of classic breakfast dishes, egg cookery, pastries, and light brunch items.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with early start times.

Excellent organisation, time-management, and communication skills.

A positive, professional attitude and strong team ethic.

Shift Pattern

Early morning shifts (typically starting between 06:0007:00).

Full-time position; flexibility required for weekends and busy periods.
