Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie for the Calo Kitchen. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to manage daily kitchen operations, including overseeing staff, assisting with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and managing ordering and stocking. The successful candidate will leverage their culinary and managerial expertise to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets quality standards
  • Step in for the Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, and Sous Chefs when planning and directing food preparation
  • Resolve issues that arise and take control of any problematic situations
  • Manage, train, and supervise kitchen staff, establish work schedules, and assess staff performance
  • Provide direction to kitchen personnel and communicate tasks clearly
  • Order supplies and manage inventory
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
  • Produce high-quality plates, focusing on both design and taste

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as DCDP or CDP
  • 8+ years of experience in the hospitality and catering industry
  • Currently based in the UK
  • Proficient in English communication
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (day, afternoon, night) depending on the companys needs
  • Ability to commute to NW10 7PR
