A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work in one of the most premium care homes in London.
Serving a wide variety of cuisine to a diverse age range.
The role will work in the central kitchen which produces both premium European dining from breakfast through to dinner.
This growing company offers significant chance of progression and training for a capable chef de partie.
Shifts are rotated in the team and specific shift requirements can be made to help accommodate chefs with families.

Chef de Partie expected

Manage your own section and report to the Head Chef, having experience running your own section in a fine dining background is essential.
Be able to work as part of a large team in a busy environment and communicate well with the team.
Come to work with a can-do attitude and loving what you do and encouraging others to do the same, a kitchen team is only as good as their weakest link.
You must thrive in a busy service and be able to handle pressure and keep a cool head.
Have a good level of English and be able to communicate well.
An added bonus but not essential would be having experience doing stock takes.

Experiences

At least 2 years experience the same or similar role
Experience of working in a 5* environment is desirable
Willingness and ability to undertake multiple tasks, take ownership and use initiative
Proactive, friendly, and professional with the confidence to effectively manage own workload
Experience of stock control, rotation and labelling
