We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, a passion for cooking, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality dishes within their section. As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for your station, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety practices.
Duties
Take full responsibility for your section of the kitchen, preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to company standards.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver menus and maintain consistency across all dishes.
Ensure all food is prepared and served in line with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist with stock control, including checking deliveries, rotating stock, and minimising waste.
Train and support Commis Chefs or junior staff working in your section.
Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service and effective communication with front-of-house staff.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
Contribute ideas for menu development and specials when required.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen environment.
Strong cooking skills and confidence in running a kitchen section independently.
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Food Hygiene Certificate preferred).
Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively during service.
Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
