Job Overview:
We are looking for a chef de partie to join our growing team. You will be responsible for working at our Blackheath shop for both day and night menus. As we develop and grow the offering the team members will grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the kitchen by required H&S standards
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and storage areas.
- Ensure all food is stored properly and labelled accurately
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment with minimum 2 years experience
- Basic knowledge & cooking skills
- Show great organisation, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Strong desire to learn & work hard
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
