We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen interest in culinary arts. This role is essential in supporting our senior and head chef, ensuring that high standards of food safety and quality are served and maintained throughout service.
Duties
*Assist the Sous Chef in the supervision of the Kitchen department so that objectives are met in relation to the Banqueting kitchen as laid down by the company and the Executive Chef.
*Train, supervise and assist all Kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes.
*In charge of the departmental training in the kitchen; carry out all compulsory restaurant trainings, carry out departmental training, ensure all trainings are backed up with signed sheets.
*Comply with all procedures and maintain an effective knowledge of these, immediately actioning any new procedures. Adhere to all Company standards, policies and procedures.
*Requirements*
- Previous experience as CDP
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with fine cuisine dishes
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
