Chef de Partie (Materity Cover 12 Months)

Novotel London Westis part of Accor, the leading global hospitality group. It is one of the largest conference and accommodation providers within Accor. The hotel provides the international business community with space for up to 3000 delegates across 33 meeting rooms. It accommodates both business and leisure guests in one of our 630 bedrooms.

The Chef de Partie (Maternity Cover 12 Months)plays a key role in delivering high-quality dishes across the hotel's restaurants, banqueting, and room service operations. Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, they will oversee a specific kitchen section, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards while maintaining efficiency and hygiene.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and presenting dishes in line with the hotel and brand standards.
• Managing a designated kitchen section, ensuring smooth operations during service.
• Maintaining high levels of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in line with legal and company requirements.
• Assisting in stock control, minimising waste, and contributing to cost management.
• Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff to develop their skills.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a 4 or 5 star hotel or high-volume restaurant.
• Strong culinary skills and passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Fluent in English spoken & written.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
