Enhance Catering is recruiting an experienced Chef Manager to lead the kitchen at a new school opening in the Westminster area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved from the start, shaping the service, building your team, and setting high standards from day one.
About the RoleJob Title: Chef Manager
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 6:30am3:30pm (45 hours per week)
Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time, inset days, plus 3 additional weeks)
Salary: £40,000£42,000 per year (depending on experience)
Bonus: Performance-related bonus of up to 10% of salary (company discretionary)
Lead and manage the day-to-day catering operation at a new site
Prepare and deliver fresh, seasonal food at volume to a high standard
Recruit, train, and develop the kitchen team
Ensure all food safety, health & safety, and due diligence procedures are followed
Build strong relationships with onsite stakeholders
Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
Drive food quality, presentation, and consistency across the service
You will be an experienced Chef Manager with strong leadership and organisational skills, confident cooking from fresh ingredients at volume. You enjoy taking ownership of a site and leading a team to success.
