Role OverviewAs a Commis Chef at Nathalie Mayfair, you will be an integral part of our kitchen brigade, assisting in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes. This entry-level chef role is ideal for someone looking to develop their culinary skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Youll work under the guidance of senior chefs to help maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen, while upholding the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and sustainability.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients and basic dishes, ensuring consistency and quality across all items.
Support for Service: Work closely with senior chefs during service, helping to plate and deliver dishes efficiently.
Mise en Place: Prepare and organize ingredients and equipment ahead of each shift, ensuring stations are ready for service.
Kitchen Hygiene: Follow strict hygiene and food safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
Learning & Development: Take on training opportunities, learn new skills and techniques, and seek feedback to grow in the role.
Sustainability Practices: Support our eco-conscious initiatives by reducing food waste and using resources responsibly.

Experience: Some previous experience in a kitchen environment
