New Restaurant Opening | The Whiteley, Queensway (W2)
Following the success of Nela Amsterdam, were bringing our live-fire concept to London.
Were now building the kitchen team and looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join us from the start.
Nela means pure.
We focus on open-fire cooking, seasonal ingredients, and clean, elegant plates.
Our open kitchen is the heart of the restaurant a place for teamwork, curiosity, and honest food made with care.
Your Role
As Demi CDP, youll support your section and work closely with the CDPs and senior chefs.
Youll be hands-on with prep and service, and continue learning every day in a fast-paced, open kitchen.
What You Will Do
- Help deliver consistency and quality on your section
- Support during busy services
- Maintain high food and hygiene standards
- Contribute to prep, mise en place, and service
- Take part in tastings and training
- Help create a positive team atmosphere
What You Bring
- Experience as a Commis or Demi CDP in a quality kitchen
- industry qualification highly desired
- Passion for fresh ingredients and clean flavours
- Good prep and basic cooking skills
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Calm, organised, and team-focused
- Full UK work rights - Sponsorship is not available for this role
- Experience with open kitchens or fire cooking is a plus
