The Role
As our Head Chef, youll be the creative force behind our kitchen leading the team, driving quality, and crafting a menu thats as fresh and feel-good as our ingredients. This role is perfect for someone whos equal parts kitchen commander, creative foodie, and wellness enthusiast.
?? Lead the development of a craveable, seasonal, health-driven brunch menu (yes, youll help shape what goes on the avo toast).
?? Manage and mentor the kitchen crew keeping things efficient, positive, and passionate.
?? Oversee ordering, stock, and food costs to keep the kitchen running smooth and smart.
?? Own cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards like a pro.
?? Work with café leadership on menu planning, specials, and operational flow.
?? Keep the energy high, the dishes consistent, and the customers coming back for more.
Proven experience running a kitchen ideally in a fast-paced brunch, café, or health-focused concept.
A deep love for fresh, wholesome food (bonus if you geek out over fermentation, superfoods, or innovative plant-based dishes).
Creative flair balanced with operational savvy.
Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
Food Hygiene certification (or willing to get one ASAP).
Calm under pressure, quick on your feet, and always up for a challenge.
