Were searching for a passionate Head Chef to lead a dedicated team at a much-loved independent pub near Hampstead Heath. The focus is simple but exacting: the very best of British cooking, using the finest seasonal produce to deliver classic dishes with care, flavour, and pride.

With a team of 6 in the kitchen and full creative input, this is a brilliant opportunity for a chef who values provenance, quality, and consistency and wants to shape the food in a destination venue with a loyal following.

The kitchen is closed every Monday and Tuesday, giving the team two consecutive days off each week a rare and valuable work-life balance in the industry.

What Were Looking For:
Head Chef experience or strong Sous ready for a step up
Deep understanding of seasonal British produce and classic techniques
Proven ability to manage a small, tight-knit kitchen team
Financial awareness: GP management, stock control, labour
High standards of hygiene, health & safety, and food consistency
Positive, calm leadership that brings out the best in others

Key Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for kitchen operations and performance
Design and deliver menus based on British seasonal produce
Train, mentor, and develop a team of 6 chefs
Oversee food quality, safety, stock levels and wastage
Work closely with FOH to maintain excellent service standards
