Duties and responsibilities
As Commis Chef for Magic Table you will play an integral part in bringing our new immersive dining experience to life. Magic Table is an immersive 3D dining experience where each table is transformed into a captivating storyteller, guided by the guests personal choices. Making its London debut at the exclusive Tamisé, this one-of-a-kind event features world-renowned magicians Thommy Ten & Amélie van Tass. The role surrounds food preparation and service, working under the guidance of senior chefs to ensure consistency, quality, and creativity in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients and executing dishes to the highest standards across multiple outlets.
- Mise en Place: Ensure your station is well-stocked, organised, and ready for service, contributing to smooth kitchen operations.
- Learning & Development: Actively engage in training, absorbing new techniques, and seeking feedback to improve your culinary skills.
- Compliance & Hygiene: Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and company policies.
- Team Support: Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen porters, contributing to a positive and productive kitchen culture.
- Equipment Care: Keep tools and workstations clean and well-maintained, supporting overall kitchen efficiency.
About You
- Basic experience in a professional kitchen or culinary training
- Understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Experience Preferred
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Exposure to London-based hospitality operations and UK food safety standards
- Level 1 or 2 Food Safety certification
