Role Overview
The Senior Chef de Partie will be responsible for the efficient operation of an assigned section within the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest quality. The successful candidate will support the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in maintaining consistency, upholding food safety standards, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the designated kitchen section.
Ensure all food preparation and presentation meet Paper Moons quality and consistency standards.
Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene, health and safety regulations, and HACCP requirements.
Support the training, development, and supervision of junior team members.
Assist in stock control, ordering, and waste management processes.
Contribute to menu execution and development as directed by senior kitchen management.
Work effectively as part of a high-performing team to ensure smooth and timely service.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a premium or high-volume restaurant environment.
Strong understanding of Italian cuisine is preferred.
High level of organisation, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to upholding company standards and policies.
