Summary;
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Sous-Chef to help manage the daily operations ofone of the restaurants which Offers A la Carte service and Functions.
The Ideal Candidate will work closely with the Head-chef and Senior Sous Chef to maintain excellent food standards, oversee the kitchen staff, ensure smooth and efficient service. This role requires a hands-on Leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for seasonal and quality produce.
Key Responsibilities;
-Assist the Head-Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, food preparation and plating
-Supervise and train the kitchen staff to maintain consistency, quality and presentation.
-Ensure all dishes leave the kitchen to the Clubs highest standards
-Manage inventory, monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
-Maintain a clean, organized and compliant kitchen that meets all health and safety regulations
Leadership and Teamwork;
- Lead the team in a supportive, positive and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with all departments of the Club
Quality Control and Innovation;
-Contribute ideas for new dishes, specials and menu improvement
-Ensure Freshness, flavor balance, and portion control in all menu items
-Monitor food waste and Implement cost control measures if needed
Qualifications;
-1 year + as a junior sous or sous chef in a similar restaurant setting
-Strong culinary skills and passion for high-quality cuisine
-Excellent leadership, communication skills and organizational skills
-Ability to maintain composure under pressure
-Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
