? Working with Pomelos Executive Chef and the wider events team to create bespoke menus.
? Maintaining good communication with the events team, keeping to daily meetings to go over weekly event schedules.
? Keeping up with industry trends, with a constant eye on social media content to inspire new ideas.
? Positive attitude, great team work, being part of team social events;. Day-to-day help running of the kitchen team, help creating weekly chef rotas.
? Ordering food, tracking dry store and freezer lists weekly. Managing costs/ food waste and making sure we are using up ingredients.
? Help managing Food Safety documentation, ensuring all staff are carrying out the appropriate checks, and seeing that documentation is up to date at all times.
? Maintaining our 5* Food Safety rating, ensuring exceptional cleanliness of the kitchen, organisation, stock rotation, adherence to food safety standards, and always looking to improve kitchen efficiencies.
? Oversee the culinary elements of events; ensuring beautiful presentation, timing and quality of food.
? Ensuring that the team working the event are fully-briefed on menus, allergens, timings and expectations;
? Excellent communication with the Event Manager, showing a full understanding of different styles of service.
