We are looking for Sous Chef to join our talented team at Skewd in Leicester Square.

From every plate of food served and every drink poured, Skewd showcases the best of British produce with a modern Turkish twist.

We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, innovation and impeccable hospitality & we are looking for an experienced sous chef to take us to the next level.

You will support your team and your head chef to deliver our vision and strategy within your kitchen. You will be second in command and oversee everything from stocks, rotas, recruitment and overall food safety/hygiene.

Our Sous Chef is a crucial part of the senior management team, and we are expanding so its a great chance to develop your cooking career into a head chef role with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards according to menu specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Support the Head Chef in menu development and daily kitchen operations.
  • Train and mentor junior members of the kitchen team, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative working atmosphere.

Experience and Skills:

  • At least two years ofSous Chefexperience in a fine dining kitchen.
  • A team player with a passion for learning and development.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with staff.

Such a pleasure to go into a restaurant and made to feel so welcome, even without a booking. Service is impeccable, food outstanding and ambiance lovely.
