Sous Chef Position (Events caterer)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A rare opportunity has arisen, and Change are currently working with a fabulous events caterer who are currently recruiting for a Sous chef.
About the role
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef is preferred but not mandatory.
A minimum of 2 years working at a reputable event catering company or at a two-rosette level (or equivalent).
A genuine passion for exceptional food and creativity.
Proven leadership skills and experience in assisting a team.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and food cost controls.
Collaborate with the executive and head chefs, as well as the events team, to plan and execute events.
Attention to detail is essential.
A positive attitude along with strong personal and communication skills.
What is on offer:
Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, based on experience.

Expectations
Assist with the daily operations of prep kitchens and events.
Support the head chef with daily tasks, food orders, hygiene checks, and more.
Ensure compliance with EHO regulations, maintain up-to-date paperwork, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
Bring a positive attitude and energy to our friendly kitchen team.
