Based in the City of London, this prestigious site has an extremely busy hospitality department. The food produced here is of the highest quality and ranges from working lunches to canaps and sit down formal dinners. With the food being of Michelin standard, detail and presentation is essential.
What you'll be doing
* Working as part of a team to produce fresh seasonal food at the highest level
* Supporting the Head Chef in the running of the kitchen
* Managing junior members of the team
* Involved in creating menus for both the staff dining as well as hospitality, fine dining and canaps
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (evenings as required). All overtime is paid at time and a half
What we are looking for:
* A passionate and motivated Sous Chef with a proven career history in high end hospitality catering
* A stable and progressive work history (min of 1 year in each place)
* Fine dining experience ideally within a Michelin star, Rosette restaurant or corporate fine dining
* Strong team player - able to support and inspire others
* Genuine passion for food and ingredients as well as up to date with trends and concepts
* Ability to handle multiple demands calmly and work under pressure
* Attention to detail and presentation with flair and creativity
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Flexibility and positive attitude
