The Chancery Rosewood - opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

Here, we are seeking a Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen with skill, precision, and a calm, confident presence. You will be based in our Asian fine dining restaurant, a spectacular venue in the hotel that will serve a variety of large and small Asian dishes to an exceptional standard, in an iconic environment with impeccable service.Working alongside the Chef de Cuisine, you will be a key player in delivering a menu that is as thoughtful as it is refined. This is a role for a Sous Chef who values excellence, leads with respect, and understands that the best kitchens are built on collaboration, not chaos.

Ket Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that every dish leaving the pass meets the highest standards, maintaining consistency in both quality and presentation.
  • Guide and support your team, fostering an environment where everyone is set up for success.
  • From HACCP standards to allergen awareness, menu costings to sustainability practicesknow it all and ensure it is executed flawlessly.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace, keeping operations smooth and service seamless.
  • Contribute to menu development and tastings, helping to craft culinary experiences that reflect our commitment to creativity and quality.
