Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and recipes
- Oversee food production and ensure quality standards are met
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Help maintain stock levels and order supplies when necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Contribute to the development of new dishes and culinary techniques
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Excellent supervisory and team management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Qualifications or certifications in Culinary Arts or Hospitality are advantageous
