An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join one of the UK's leading building services companies, working across Central & Greater London (within the M25).
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial and domestic appliances, with experience in maintenance and fault-finding. Candidates must hold relevant commercial gas qualifications (minimum TPCP1 and TPCP1A) and a full UK driving licence. Oil qualifications will be considered for salary enhancement.
The role will involve working as part of a mobile team covering multiple sites, carrying out a range of planned and reactive maintenance duties on commercial gas systems. Participation in a call-out rota (1 in 7 weeks) will also be required.
Duties:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial gas systems and appliances.
Fault-finding and repair of heating systems, hot and cold-water distribution, and associated plant.
Work on pumps, pressure/expansion vessels, DMZ valves, plate exchangers, and fixed electrical systems.
Assist other trades when required and support colleagues with major and minor maintenance tasks.
Ensure all works are carried out to the highest standards and in line with company procedures.
Represent the company in a professional manner, maintaining strong client and colleague relationships.
Qualifications:
Commercial gas qualifications (TPCP1 & TPCP1A minimum).
Oil qualifications (advantageous).
Gas Safe registration.
Full UK driving licence.
Proficiency with PDA/tablet systems for job updates.
Salary / Package:
Basic Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 (depending on experience).
Overtime: Double time plus 150 standby allowance.
Call-Out: 1 in 7 weeks.
