A new exciting opportunity has become available for a UK leading Charity, who are seeking a dedicated, proactive IT Manager. This position involves providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to internal users, primarily within a Microsoft environment. This is a standalone role.
You will ensure their systems run smoothly, troubleshoot technical issues, and support day-to-day IT operations. The role combines of working with all of their 13 projects plus HO, with 99 permanent staff and 57 locums, offering flexibility alongside a chance to make a real difference. Usage wise they have 8 members of staff in the Central team and each project has a manager with an email address and the rest share a generic one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support to internal users.
- Ensure systems and applications (primarily Microsoft-based) operate effectively.
- Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and escalate where needed.
- Support system updates, security checks, and general IT maintenance
- Strong IT knowledge working in a home set up
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role. (3rd Line)
- Strong understanding of Microsoft environments (Windows, Office 365).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
