A leading London university is seeking an experienced IT Operations Managerto take ownership of their core academic and administrative IT systems. This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week on-sitein central London.
Applicants must have prior experience working within a UK university or higher education environment.
The RoleYou’ll lead the day-to-day operations and support of key university systems, including:

CRM (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)

LMS (e.g. Moodle, Canvas)

SRS (e.g. SITS, Banner)

ERP (e.g. Oracle, Unit4, Workday)

Key Responsibilities-
Manage and maintain mission-critical systems (CRM, LMS, SRS, ERP)

Lead a small team and work with third-party vendors

Ensure smooth service delivery, incident management, and system performance

Collaborate with internal departments to support digital transformation initiatives

Monitor compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements

Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvements

Significant IT operations experience in a UK university or higher education institution

Strong technical understanding of CRM, LMS, SRS, and ERP systems

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a complex environment

ITIL or similar service management framework experience (desirable)

Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience
