Chief of StaffCity of LondonGenerous Base Salary and Bonus. Permanent / 5 days in£75,000-£100,000I have a superb opportunity for a Chief of Staff with EA skills, to join a boutique investment firm. You will need to be highly experienced and proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will work closely with the CEO and provide executive support to a diverse and fast-paced team. Taking ownership of your work, you will strive to meet high standards and be incredibly detail oriented. Leading new initiatives and strategy implementation, you will be innovative and eager to tackle unprecedented challenges. What you’ll do:As a Chief of Staff you will need to be able to identify potential issues within the team and address on the CEOs behalf where possible. Other duties include:
  • Manage CEOs calendar, travel for the team and expenses
  • Coordinate with internal and external departments and organisations to ensure the team’s priorities are met
  • Coordinate special projects and initiatives e.g. transformational change, offsites and client events
  • Maintain and record all minutes from meetings including at board level
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders and identify potential issues, allowing for a prompt resolution
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires
  • Produce and execute strategy and business development
  • Sometimes take on challenges outside of what is specified in your job description
What you’ll need:As a Chief of Staff you will need a minimum of 8 years’ experience supporting at C-Suite level in business management, as a Business Partner or Chief of Staff.
  • Experience in corporate or start-up environments with everchanging demands is essential
  • A career as an EA before moving into a COS role is essential
  • Extensive experience in people and project management
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Have strong judgement and willing to accept ownership of work
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable liaising with senior colleagues and clients
  • Exemplify critical thinking skills when problem solving
  • Strong team player attitude
  • Professional and uphold the company image
  • Able to work beyond contracted work hours to accommodate business needs
