The role:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts across England, including independent retailers, garden centres and small department stores
  • Have full autonomy for your own customer base and be key point of contact
  • Role will be highly varied, field based and a mix of out visiting customers, liaising with the team and opportunity to work autonomously
  • Chance to drive new product range into existing accounts with a high focus on garden centre groups
  • Stable business, cash rich with a great history. Number 1 in category with a number of UK retailers
  • Attend all trade shows, occasional visits to HQ. Will need to be flexible and able to travel when required

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience within a branded non-food consumer goods product category. This could be home furnishings, housewares, gift or toys for example. Also open to other FMCG branded experience
  • Will need to have previous territory sales management experience and able to work well independently
  • Knowledge and contacts within the garden centre channel would be highly beneficial
  • Able to travel across the UK, be flexible and work well autonomously
  • Must be a great ambassador for the brand & ability to build strong relationships
  • Must be a great communicator, ability to build strong relationships with customers
