Are you a dynamic Business Development professional looking to make your mark in a forward-thinking law firm? We're working with a highly regarded regional law firm seeking a Business Development Manager to support their Technology Practice Group. This is a pivotal role, ideal for someone with strategic insight, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for driving growth in a fast-evolving sector.

About the Role:

As BD Manager you'll take ownership of BD and marketing initiatives for the Technology pratice, working closely with partners and fee earners to deliver high-impact campaigns, pitches, client engagement programmes, and profile-raising strategies.

You'll be part of a well-established, supportive BD team of around 30 professionals, with plenty of opportunities to collaborate across practice and sector groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business development plans aligned to the Technology group's strategic objectives.
  • Lead on the preparation of bids, proposals, and credentials statements.
  • Drive client targeting, relationship development, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and comms teams to enhance the team's external profile.
  • Provide market and client insights to support decision-making and growth strategies.
About You:
  • Proven BD experience within professional services, ideally legal or a partnership environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence advising senior lawyers and partners.
  • A proactive, commercially-minded approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Interest or experience in the technology sector is a plus.
