Are you a natural networker who thrives on building long-term client relationships?

We’re looking for a driven, personable and experienced Business Development Manager to join our client's expanding commercial soft furnishings and laundry business, supplying high-quality products and services to the hospitality, education, and private healthcare sectors. The target market is within London, but also nationwide for some contracts.

This is not an entry-level sales role. We’re after someone who’s already been in the game — ideally with experience selling into hotels, care homes, schools, or private healthcare providers — and understands how to win trust, close deals, and grow accounts that last.

About the Role:

  • Develop new business across the hospitality, education and healthcare markets, focusing on long-term value, not quick wins.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with procurement teams, operations managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and exhibitions to actively grow your contact base and elevate the brand.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met with precision and professionalism.
  • Track activity and progress using CRM tools and report regularly on pipeline and targets.

About You:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales - ideally in soft furnishings, laundry services, or selling into the same sectors.
  • A confident, positive personality - you’re someone people naturally warm to and trust.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated - you set your own pace and don’t need hand-holding.
  • Comfortable pitching to stakeholders at all levels, from hotel managers to care home owners.
  • Willing to travel as needed - a full UK driving licence is essential.

What We Offer:

  • A respected and growing company with a solid client base and ambitious plans.
  • Freedom and autonomy to shape and drive your own work.
  • £40,000 + £2,000 per quarter commission + £2,000 annual over achievement bonus + car allowance £450 per month
  • 25 days holiday.
  • A supportive, down-to-earth team that values initiative and ideas.

This is a role for someone who wants to make an impact, not just tick boxes. If you know how to sell value, not just price, and you’re ready to represent a brand with integrity and ambition, we want to hear from you.
