Are you ready to lead new business conversations with UK energy and water providers and offer data-driven solutions that solve real industry challenges?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, people-focused data consultancy that’s already embedded with some of the sector’s biggest brands. The company is expanding its new business team to capitalise on demand and deepen its presence in an already well-established client base. As part of this growth, they’re hiring a Business Development Manager to lead activity across the energy and water sectors.

This is a consultative sales role focused on identifying opportunities, building relationships with senior stakeholders, and guiding them to tailored data and analytics solutions. You’ll manage the full sales process — from prospecting and proposal to pitch and close — with support from expert delivery and insights teams.

The work is strategic and collaborative, helping clients improve everything from revenue management and onboarding to customer retention and operations. The goal is simple: generate lasting partnerships that deliver measurable outcomes.

You’ll need a proven track record in enterprise B2B sales, with experience winning and growing high-value accounts in the energy or water sector. A background in consultancy or data-led solution selling is a big plus, as is the ability to influence at senior levels and navigate complex sales cycles. You’re commercially sharp, confident in the boardroom, and curious by nature — always ready to ask the right questions and build rapport. This role suits someone who thrives on solving problems, building relationships, and winning trust over time.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, people-first culture where integrity, creativity, and drive are genuinely valued. Hybrid working is standard, with two days per week in the London HQ and flexibility around client meetings and work-life balance.

The package includes a base salary up to £70,000 and a generous commission plan with £140,000 OTE, plus strong progression potential as the business continues to scale. To apply, contact CN Sales Recruitment today.
