Head of Commercial Strategy and Insights, West London (Hybrid)£90- £110kpa plus benefits, including a bonus Role Overview:We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded individual to join our client's team and lead the development and delivery of pricing and promotional insights that drive growth across both brand and category. This is a high-impact role, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to maximise value from trade investment and strengthen market performance.Key Responsibilities:* Deliver clear, actionable insights on pricing and promotions to internal teams and external partners to enhance ROI, improve £/kg performance, and boost category returns.* Monitor and interpret competitor activity, assessing its impact across the portfolio through key retailer metrics (e.g. price, promotions, feature space, distribution) and consumer behaviours.* Lead the development of long-term (3-year) pricing strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support sustainable profit and share growth.* Enhance tools and insights to support customer teams in evaluating monthly promotional performance and ROI, optimising trade investment through effective annual planning.* Contribute to annual budget planning by providing insights on price, pack, and promotional initiatives-underpinned by category trends, consumer behaviour, elasticity data, and pricing thresholds.* Partner closely with Category and Consumer Insights teams to translate data into compelling, actionable recommendations.* Support innovation planning by delivering insight-led guidance on pack and price strategies, informed by competitor and category analysis.* Lead a cross-functional project team exploring the use of AI tools to drive smarter decision-making and operational efficiency.* Champion and continuously improve Revenue Management processes across the business to optimise pack, price, and promotional strategies.* Use internal and external data sources to support the broader NRM team with forward-looking forecasts, making course corrections where needed.*Coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering world-class thinking in pricing and promotional strategy.What We're Looking For:* Strong commercial and strategic acumen* Experience in pricing, promotions, revenue management, or category/consumer insights* Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders* Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with complex data sets* Leadership experience and a passion for developing talentAGY - Vitae Financial RecruitmentWe Exist To Be Different - Membership NOT Registration
