Marketing Manager (Full-Time, Hybrid - 3 Days in Office)

Liverpool Street, London | £48,000 per annum

An innovative, mission-driven organisation near Liverpool Street is seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join the team full-time. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, hands-on marketer with strong copywriting skills and a proven track record in campaign management to lead content and growth initiatives that make a measurable impact.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week in the Liverpool Street office and the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining 2 days.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will lead on content development and campaign execution across a range of digital and offline channels. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and execution-focused—comfortable producing high-quality content while managing multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement, visibility, and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Brand Engagement

  • Create engaging, conversion-driven content for websites, email, social media, and events.
  • Manage the production and setup of physical event materials, including signage, banners, and branded merchandise.
  • Work closely with designers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay on top of content marketing trends and implement innovative approaches to increase engagement and reach.

Growth & Lead Generation

  • Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel campaigns to expand reach in target markets, particularly among academic and research communities.
  • Identify and develop new promotional channels, partnerships, and referral opportunities.
  • Enhance brand visibility within PhD networks and academic circles to drive high-quality leads.
  • Continuously test and improve campaigns through A/B testing, performance analysis, and user feedback.
  • Promote recruitment and programme events to maximise attendance and engagement, repurposing content where appropriate post-event.
  • Track and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and social media insights.
  • Present insights and recommendations to the Head of Marketing to inform future strategy.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Demonstrated success in marketing campaign planning and execution.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills across formats and platforms.
  • Experience managing content creation, stakeholder relationships, and campaign analytics.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, social media analytics, and CRM/reporting tools.
  • A proactive, creative, and detail-oriented approach to marketing.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
