National Account Manager - Grocery/Retail, London (c3 days)

£55-60k plus £6k Car Allowance + bonus + package

  • Are you an experienced FMCG sales professional with a passion for food and working with top UK retailers?
  • We have an amazing National Account Manager opportunity for you to join a high growth, family-owned business with a strong presence in the UK and Ireland.
  • This business is home to a market leading brand within its category and is now widely stocked across UK major retailers including Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl.
  • Due to further growth and success, our client is now recruiting for a newly created National Account Manager position.

Role:

  • As National Account Manager, you will focus on managing and developing key retail customers including Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl and Home Bargains.
  • Using your knowledge of the UK market, you will manage existing relationships and target new customer opportunities and build long-term, sustainable relationships with them.
  • You will develop strategic plans to drive category and brand growth
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and promotional plans

Candidate profile:

  • Successful candidates for this National Account Manager role will have a track record of success in FMCG account management with UK retailers.
  • You will be adept to working in a small and ambitious team.
  • You will demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, be an excellent communicator to multiple stakeholders and personalities, can work at pace and have the ability to seamlessly flip between a strategic & operational mindset.

In return, we offer a salary range of £55-60k and a car allowance of £6k + bonus. You will be based in our London office for approximately 2-3 days a week, with flexibility to work remotely 2-3d per week.
