The Company

My client is a fast-paced live events company is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to lead paid media strategy and community engagement across a portfolio of UK and European festivals.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing large media budgets and a strong grasp of audience behaviour, seasonal trends, and campaign storytelling that connects with music fans.

The Job

As the Performance Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Campaign Management: Plan and optimise paid media campaigns across platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube) to drive ticket sales and fan engagement.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage six-figure media budgets with a focus on ROAS and performance-driven allocation.
  • Integrated Marketing: Align paid media with organic, influencer, and community strategies to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize impact.
  • Real-Time Optimization: Adjust campaigns based on ticket trends, lineup changes, and audience insights to boost effectiveness.
  • Tech & Automation: Enhance the marketing tech stack to support CRM integration, automation, and real-time reporting.
  • Reporting & Insights: Deliver clear performance reports and strategic insights to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics like sales and engagement.

You

  • Proven performance marketing experience focused on ticket sales, engagement, and real-time optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of paid media platforms and seasonal campaign planning.
  • Experience in live events or festivals is highly preferred.
  • Skilled in marketing tech and automation, including CRM, analytics, and ad platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into revenue-driving insights.
  • Excellent project management skills, especially during high-volume campaign periods.
